Our RFWarehouse Management System works with the Stone Edge Order Manager Enterprise version to automate and ease your warehouse tasks of picking, packing, receiving and cycle counting (warehouse inventory). Here's how:
RFPick This program allows your employees to pick an order using a Symbol barcode scanner as pictured (left). You begin by scanning the reference number barcode in the upper right corner of the SEOM Packing Slip (below right). Our software looks up all the items and displays them in picking order one by one, instructing your employee where to go and how many to pick. Verification that the correct item was picked is accomplished by scanning the UPC of the item. Our system compares it to what's in the SEOM database and your picking errors disappear. It will: - Increases your employees productivity - Significantly reduces picking errors - Requires minimal training for new or temporary employees - Our software records start and end times, quantity picked and who picked it. This allows you to accurately measure the productivity of each employee.
RFPack This program allows you to quickly verify all items are in the box prior to taping it shut and routing it over to the SEOM Pack and Ship station. By using our scanners you won't tie up a valuable SEOM station and you can have many scanners feeding one Pack and Ship station increasing your productivity and throughput.
RFLookup This program allows you to quickly display an item's location, SKU & Quantity On Hand (QOH) just by scanning the item's UPC. This program allows you to take it directly the shelf. You can use it for: - Receiving items to show where the item goes in the warehouse - Returns for quick replacement. - As the first step in Cycle Counting; and here's how. At the end of the day when all the packages have been shipped and your employees have a few minutes before they need to clock out, they can move down an isle and pull an item out of a bin and scan the item's UPC. The scanner shows the information mentioned above including the QOH. The employee quickly counts the actual quantity in the bin and if it matches they move on to the next bin. If the QOH doesn't match the actual quantity in the bin, then they place a red 3M Post It note on the bin denoting an inventory discrepancy. Later that day a supervisor or manager follows up using the RFCycleCount program.
RFCycleCount This program allows your supervisors and managers to change the QOH (quantity on hand) AND location for any item within SEOM database using the portable scanners. You don't have to go back to a PC or a Stone Edge station to make the changes!
